At Premier Lampshades, we take a huge amount of pride in our range of handmade lampshades. Each order we receive is lovingly created by our small team of highly experienced craftsmen. The result? High-quality fabric lampshades that suit the individual needs of each customer perfectly.

As well as crafting bespoke lampshades for homes across the UK and worldwide, we have also been supplying leading retailers with our special creations for over 30 years. One of the most recent projects we had the pleasure of working on was with the popular fashion chain White Stuff.

 

A unique company

Founded in the mid-eighties, White Stuff started life when two ski-loving friends opened their first clothing shop in Battersea, South London. Since its launch, the company has gone from strength to strength, with stores now open across the UK, Belgium, Denmark, Germany and Italy.

The lovely people at White Stuff don’t like to follow the crowd. All of their stores are completely unique. From vintage shower cubicles complete with shower caps (yes, really!) to Narnia-style wardrobes that disguise the way through to enchanting cubicles, their changing rooms are simply legendary. So when we got a call from White Stuff HQ asking if we would help them out with one of their latest shop displays, we jumped at the chance!

 

Vintage retro lampshades

White Stuff pride themselves on the carefully thought-out details and quirky touches in their shops. And, as a leading clothing brand, they are committed to quality in all things they do. Of course, that’s why they came to Premier Lampshades for help completing a shop display design involving several vintage retro lampshades!

 

Getting started

For this project, the White Stuff design team sent us two large boxes of vintage fabric and curtains, along with detailed instructions as to the size, shape and style of lampshades they required for their new display. As soon as we received the fabric we set to work creating the magnificent lampshades, the largest of which was a beautiful, vibrant orange single scallop shade.

 

Unique, creative touches

We are always committed to delivering our bespoke lampshades on time and to each client’s specific specifications. This project was no exception. Our incredibly unique creations were created within seven days and are now on display in all of their creative glory.
