Tiffany lamps and Tiffany lights first came on the scene in the late 19th century. An invention of the American designer Louis Comfort Tiffany who made his name by creating stained glass windows, jewellery, mosaics and lamps. Original tiffany pieces are collector’s items which are very hard to find and as a result are extremely expensive. You can however own a reproduction tiffany lamp handmade using the same style as an original Tiffany.
